Ulysses, Kansas - April 13, 2011

The Harvest Bowl, 10-lane bowling center in Ulysses, Kansas will be offered up for sale to the highest bidder this next month. Faulkner Real Estate will be performing one of their "Private Auctions" which involves taking bids over the phone up to a specified date. The bidding for the Harvest Bowl will go through May 10th and will end after that date when one final bidder remains.

If you don’t like the weather just wait a day, it will change. As we are cozy inside our homes our roof is over our head like a protective umbrella to our house. I cannot believe it's been 25 years since my father, Mark struck off on his own and started Faulkner Agency in a tiny (600 square foot) office on main street in Ulysses, Kansas. I remember helping he and my mom, Suzanne, scrape the old tile (probably asbestos laden) off of the concrete slab floors of their new office space. The office was a modest cinder block building with barely enough space for a few desks.
